Henrob Self Piercing Rivets
Syngineering purchased the exclusive distribution rights for Henrob Self Piercing Rivets and riveting systems in Australia and New Zealand in December 2018. As part of the distribution agreement between Atlas Copco and Syngineering, some of the Henrob employees have taken up the option to work for Syngineering. This means that all of the Australian and New Zealand customers can continue to receive the service and support from the Henrob team combined with the mechanical engineering, electrical engineering and industrial automation horsepower from the Syngineering team.
Roadsign Riveting
The standard construction method for road signs for many years was by first applying the reflective film to the surface of the aluminium stiffenerroad sign, then drilling through and blind riveting extruded aluminium stiffeners to the back of the sign.
However, when using Henrob Self Piercing Rivets mean that the reflective surface on the front of the sign is not broken leading to a simpler, smarter, cheaper an all round better roadsign.
Features
- Hydraulic powerpack
- Safety Guarding
- 2 second cycle time
- Foot switch
- Systems can set up with either
- 900mm deep C Frame
- or
- 1050mm deep C Frame
Caravan Riveting
The standard construction method for caravan wall frame trusses has always been timber but with the introduction of aluminium channel sections, production rates have improved, accuracy has improved, quality has improved, along with a massive increase in the actual wall strength. Using Henrob SPR makes the transition possible.
Features
- Hydraulic powerpack
- Rotating head
- Less than 2 second cycle time
- Light weight tool head
- X-Y Axis
- Specially designed tool to access 14mm channel
Steel Framed Housing
The standard construction method for steel framed houses has been pop rivets, spot welding, and self drilling screws. Using the Henrob SPR systems, it is possible to eliminate welding, eliminate pre-punched holes and reduce the overall cycle time to produce a reliable joint and hence manufacture more frames.
Features
- Hydraulic powerpack
- Rotating head to rivet both side of section
- Less than 2 second cycle time
- Light weight tool head
- X-Y Axis
- Specially designed tooling to allow access to truss apex connections
Grain Silo Riveting
Manufacturing grain silos using the Henrob SPR systems is extremely safe, very reliable and predictable when compared to screws and pop rivets. The Henrob SPR systems automate the process keeping assembly staff away from the machine and silo sections and with the automation, cycle times are reduced and productivity is increased.
Features
- Hydraulic powerpack
- Less than 2 second cycle time
- Automated controlled riveting
- Automatic indexing of silo
- Specially designed tooling to rivet silo rings
- Safety guarding and controls
Watertank Riveting
The Henrob SPR systems are the most common method of joining corrugated or flat sheet tank sections together taking over from welding many years ago. The lightweight Henrob SPR systems are easy to control and manoevre around the tank during construction. The Henrob SPR systems provide a repeatable and reliable joint or connection and the with modern high technology coatings, the rivets out last the tanks.
Features
- Hydraulic powerpack
- Less than 2 second cycle time
- Automated controlled riveting
- Specially designed tooling to rivet tank rings
- Safety guarding and controls
Airconditioning Duct Riveting
The Henrob SPR systems are one of the most common methods of joining and fabricating airconditioning duct. The main advantage of the Henrob SPR systems is that it produces a reliable and repeatable joint. The lightweight Henrob SPR systems are fast, easy to control and manoevre around the duct during construction.
Features
- Hydraulic powerpack
- Less than 2 second cycle time
- Automated controlled riveting
- Specially designed tooling to a wide range of ducting
- Safety guarding and controls
Automated Riveting
Syngineering specialise in industrial automation and when combined with the Henrob SPR systems, the results are impressive. If we adopt Henrob SPR this will reduce cycle times, well then what happens if we put 2, 3 or 4 rivets in at the same time and automate the process with either robotics of machine automation.
Features
- Hydraulic powerpack
- Less than 2 second cycle time
- Automated controlled riveting
- Specially designed tooling to a wide range of ducting
- Safety guarding and controls
